There are six different stages of complete nutrition, these include :-

Our body contain basically six different elements. This include:-

1) Protein
2) Carbohydrates
3) Fats
4) Vitamins
5) Minerals
6) Water


Every elements play's major role for maintaining a proper body. You probably not considered as a fit, if you lack these components. Moreover, it's necessity for maintaining good body and also good diet. 

When you intake healthy nutrition these elements are take down into your body. In a brief explanation, nutrition is important because our body require these six elements, and by the process of nutrition these six elements are sent to the parts of our body where does it's required.

1) Food intake


Here, we take up all these elements that include protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamin, minerals and water into our body. From a healthy eating meal plan they enters in our body.

Secondly absorption, the foods are now broken down in the host body and absorbed. The process where breakdown of food materials takes place is called absorption. 

The complex food materials is broken down into simpler substance like carbohydrates, fats, proteins, etc.


3) Assimilation


These include, the process where conversion of nutrient into the fluid or solid substance of the body takes place, by the processes of digestion and absorption. 

Here, two process are considered, firstly digestion and second absorption. These two process together competed the process called assimilation.


4) Biosynthesis


Biosynthesis refer to a multi-step, enzyme-catalyzed process where substrates are converted into more complex products in living organisms. 

Here, modification of simple compound takes place, these converted into other compounds, or joined together to form macromolecules. 

This process often consists of metabolic pathways. Some of these biosynthetic pathways are located within a single cellular organelle, while others involve enzymes that are located within multiple cellular organelles.


5) Catabolism


Catabolism is the set of metabolic pathways that breaks down molecules into smaller units that are either oxidized to release energy or used in other anabolic reactions. 

Catabolism breaks down large molecules like polysaccharides, lipids, nucleic acids and proteins into smaller units monosaccharides, fatty acids, nucleotides, and amino acids, respectively. 

Catabolism is also the breaking-down aspect of metabolism, whereas anabolism is the building-up aspect.


6) Excretion


Last but not the least, excretion, the process by which metabolic waste is eliminated from an organism. 

Every organisms perform this process when the waste product no more required in the body. In vertebrates this is primarily carried out by the lungs, kidneys and skin. This is in contrast with secretion, where the substance may have specific tasks after leaving the cell.

These all six steps complete the process of nutrition. Our body got that stuff which required to maintain the balance of health, these steps has safely delived carbohydrates, fats, protein, minerals etc. to our body.
